Right click My Network Places, select Properties, right click the active
Local Area Connection, select Properties, find the entry for Client for
Netware Services and click Uninstall.

Hi,

Right click your network connection and click properties. Netware should be
listed here where you can uninstall it.

If you don't need the Novell Client to connect to a LAN:

Start > Network Connections > Right-click on the desired connection >
Properties > General > High-light the Client Services for Novell >
Uninstall.

hi,

I'm having the same problem with changing the way i log on to my
laptop. at the mo a pop up box with the novell logo asks me for a user
name and password. i have windows xp pro, because i bought it off my
old school, but i only use it at home. I have novell installed on it,
however im no longer connected to a local area connection (as far as i
know - im not up with computers). i tried deleting novell as you said,
however when i tried again to change the way i log in it still wouldnt
enable me, stating that a recently installed program has disabled the
desired actions, and that NWGina.DLL might help me identify the
program. if im right NWGina.DLL is Novell - but ive deleted it! i found
some of the files are still on my hard drive.
however, now when i log in (still on the novell box), once entered the
username and password, a pop up box tells me that it cannot connect to
the network and asks if i would still like to log into windows. i was
connected to a network at uni, but as far as i know im no longer a part
of it (taking the network cable out was a bit of a clue!) why is it
messing me around?! please help...

regards, phoenix.
