I am trying to uninstal windows xp home edition because I
don't heve enough drive to run the program properly,can
anyone help me please?I would just like to go back to
using windows 98 until I get more drive!

Hi barry,
It depends on how you installed it.If you upgraded 9x and haven't added
any builds but the original, you should be able to remove XP through the
Add Remove Programs.

In general, you can't uninstall operating systems. You need to
format your drive and reinstall whatever other operating system
you want.

But there's an exception that may apply in your case. *If* you
did an upgrade from 98 (not a clean installation), took the
option to save the old operating system, and didn't convert your
drive to NTFS, you can uninstall from Add/Remove Programs and go
back to 98.

But if any of above are not true, your only choice is to reformat
and reinstall 98 cleanly, losing everything on your drive.

You dont uninstall XP, you clean the drive and delete it.
