"unhandled exception"!?!

whenever I log on I get the message box 'unhandled
exception' etc, and then xp asks me to send an error
report. Anyone else had this problem or just knows how
to get rid of it? It happens every time I switch on my
PC without fail.

You have some bad code in something that is configured
to run at login. You could use the msconfig tool of PChealth
to see what is so configured, and then start narrowing it down.
