Unhandled Access Violation reading 0x0000 Exception at 7c58c587h

When I try to launch Autocad 2000, I get the following:

"Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation reading 0x0000
Exception at 7c58c587h"

Then the application shuts down. I've done a complete OS
reload to no avail. This seems to be the only app that
does this and it just started recently. Autocad worked for
several years until recently, so I suspected a virus that
is why I formatted the drive and reloaded the OS. If
anyone has any ideas about a workaround, I'd greatly
appreciate it.
