Unexpected Terminations

After working without problems for a few months, MM1 started
terminating shortly after selecting >File >Import. It seemed a good
time to upgrade to MM2, but the problem persists. The termination
does not occur immediately, and may even proceed to the 'preparing
clips' stage.
I would appreciate any help on the problem too.
 
Maybe you should try a system restore to go back to when it was working OK.
