unexpected page break

Have report containing numerous text boxes, combo boxes, subreports, report
and page headers. CanGrow and CanShrink properties (for sections, text
boxes, subreports) set to yes. KeepTogether properties for everything set to
no. No grouping. When printing some records, get unexpected page breaks
well above the bottom of the page....whereas for others, page break occurs as
desired at bottom of page. Premature page break always seems to occur after
one particular text box. Any ideas what I'm missing?

To give more detail regarding this problem... The report resembles a
letter, with report header (for letterhead), page header (for client name),
detail section, page footer (for page number), and report footer (for
signatures). The headers and footers display and print basically the same
for all records, and work as desired. The detail section is made up of
dozens of text and combo boxes, mixed for 40-50 subreports. The detail
section has ForceNewPage=none, KeepTogether=No, CG/CS=Yes. The subroutines
(made of report headers and detail section) have the same designations. All
the text boxes have CG/CS=Yes. Many subreports have no data so don't display
on the main report. The subreports and text/combo boxes all adjoin, with no
overlap. The report generally runs 3-5 pages. There are no designated Page
Breaks, rather each page is completely filled in (except for the last page).
For some unknown reason to me, page 1 does not always fill but breaks about
2/3rd down, with the next field appearing at the top of page 2. The
premature break always occurs after the same field. I have no sorting or
grouping in effect. Can anyone figure out what I'm doing wrong? I've tried
rebuilding the report, deleting various sections, checking and rechecking the
components, yet can't seem to stop this intermittent behavior. Thanks....
