Unexpected logging off

for the last couple of months I have been having problems with my computer
logging itself off, shutting down and then trying to reboot itself. I have
an extended warrantly, and have had it out to be repaired three times, but
after about a week after it has been returned to me, it starts doing this
again. I have had a motherboard and power supply replaced (which I
witnessed) and a DVD ROM and Harddrive replaced (supposedly, but I did not
see it happen). The operating system was reloaded with my manufacturer's
recovery CD and I am still getting this problem. I just had a technician
come out and replace the mother board and power supply last monday, but I
can't recall if the motherboard came with a CPU, or he used the one that was
in it and within the week (friday) my computer started logging off. I was,
however, able to power it back on and it would stay on for a short period of
time (which is getting shorter and shorter). Sometimes it powers up to the
desk top and other times just to the black Windows XP window.

Help

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Could be temperature or memory. Is there good air flow around the case, is
the CPU fan working properly or did they replace the fan when they changed
the motherboard. You can download memory testers and create a boot floppy or
CD to run tests on the PC. You could also try taking the side off the case
and if you have a desk fan blow air into the PC.

Just a couple of thoughts, might give you an idea.
