undo password reset disk

I recently used the "password reset disk wizard" on my flash drive --- at the
time I thought this was a good idea -- but I quickly realized anyone who gets
a hold of my flash drive can use it to defeat the security of my pc. So now
I'm trying to undo this function on my flash drive but erasing nor
reformating the flash drive can eliminate this reset functionality. Anyone
know what to do -- if I can't delete the reset I'll have to get a new flash
drive and put my "reset drive" in a deep dark secret place.

I have never used such but I would be really surprised if formatting your
drive does not defeat that purpose. Anyway if someone wants your data that
bad they will not need a reset device if they have full access to your
computer in which case they could access everything but properly encrypted
files where the decryption key is not available. If you have very sensitive
data to protect consider getting a computer that has Vista Ultimate with
needed TPM and use Bit Locker to prevent access to offline data.
