undo last save

I have accidentally saved over a document I need. How can I undo the last save?

Your only hopes are
1. That you have the create backup file option set and can use the backup
file.
2. That file recovery software will allow you to recover any portions of the
document file that haven't been written over,
3. That you have a recent backup.

Or maybe you can undo everything you have done since you opened the doc
(just keep Ctrl+Z pressed).
