undisclosed recipients

how do i hide or protect email addresses of people i send
email to? i sometimes recieve email that has "undisclosed
recipients" in the To: box. i do understand BCC but
cannot find undisclosed in the help section.

If you leave the To/CC blank and put the distribution list in the bcc field,
Outlook 98/2000 (Internet Mail Only mode) should put your e-mail address in
the To line at the time of sending. Only Outlook Express will put in
Undisclosed Recipients. (about the best way to fake this in outlook is to
put in "Undisclosed Recipients <your email address>" in the to To line in
Outlook and the distribution list in the bcc field.)
