Hi:
I am in the process of choosing a storage media that would substitute the
typical hard drive. I am currently looking into CompactFlash memory cards
and the adapter used to connect the CompactFlash card into the IDE
connector.
My question is; I remember reading something about different flavors of
CompactFlash IDE adapters. Some of them act as if it was a true hard drive
while others don't, forcing me to do some type of tweaking for the system to
recognize it.
I would like to get the one that mimics the behaviors of a hard drive 100%,
no drivers, no special BIOS configuration etc. Could someone help me select
the right one?
Thanks for you time.
