Underlining single words

I need to underline words, not continuously, but each single word. When I
highlight a sentence and hit underline - all the words, including spaces are
underlined. I have not been able to find a way to highlight a sentence and
each word in underlined, not the spaces. Is there a way to do this? HELP.

Select the text. Go to Format > Font. Pull down the dropdown under
"Underline" and select "Words only".
