Undeliverable when accepting invitation

I have users who are getting undeliverable messages when accepting an
invitation.

These users were recently deleted (last week) from active directory and
their mailboxes purged therefore they ARE in-fact undeliverable... The
question is why are they still included somehow on the mailing lists?

The group in which the invites are sent to is out of the GAL not from a
local contacts group. (They do not APPEAR to be in the list)

Example:

From: System Administrator
Sent: Monday, June 04, 2007 8:17 AM
To: Nicole DiMarco; Dora Rentas
Subject: Undeliverable: SUBJECT

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Accepted: SUBJECT

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Out of curiousity, the two names that are producing the undeliverables, were
they set up as the Delegate of the person who sent the meeting invite?

I'm certain that one was, but the other was before my time so I can't say for
certain...

Are you asking in reference to KB: 312433 ?

Err, I'd have to go look it up to know, but, I'd make sure that the person
who is sending the meeting request no longer has any delegates assigned to
their mailbox.

It is also concievable that they may have been removed, but the user's
mailbox server hasn't synced the changes properly.
