Hey, another faithful DOS man. Welcome. I have just the program for you to retrieve it. It is small and extremely helpful.
As long you have NOT added any files or defragged. Just download this to a FLOPPY disk, NOT your harddrive for it will fill the place you have deleted the file you want to bring back. Run it directly from the floppy drive (probably "A"):
Restorer (Rest2514.exe) http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/REST2514.EXE
