My colleague lost a weeks worth of work by accidently
emptying her trash. Does Win 2000 have an undelete
command? How does it work? If not, any other suggestions?

What was the "weeks worth of work" doing _IN_ the
trash?

The Recycle Bin _is_ the "undelete" feature.

No, in fact the security settings of NT/Win2000 normally
attempt to DEFEAT 'undelete'. It is possible to undelete
but generally requires a service (e.g., Executive Software
makers of DiskKeeper and the built-in free Defragger provide
one). This generally means you must plan for this ahead of
the problem.

Accidents happen. Cheers.
