undelete options if not in recycle bin

Please help - I've lost all of the files in my "my documents" folder. They
are NOT in the recycle bin. Is there a command prompt to recover these
file. How does the undelete command work. Thanks.

Hi, one thing you will want to do is to stop using the drive
immediately. It it's your boot drive then just runing windows can
overwrite your files due to swap-disk activity. If you can, put the
drive in a second computer and use data recovery tools to mine out your
lost files. Here are some freeware data recovery tools:

I'm pretty sure you will be able to restore lost data using Active
undelete restore utility. It worked really great for me so all min
lost data was recovered. You can give it a try.
