Undefined function 'Left' in exrpression.

I just recently received a new computer and a query in a database that I
created on my previous computer is now failing with the above message. The
only difference that I can see is that this version of Office Pro has
Office2k3 SP2 applied. I have changed macro protection to low. I know it
is not a syntax problem because that query worked before receiving this
computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open the code window, and on the Tools menu choose References. If anything
is marked as "MISSING", that is your problem, how you fix it depends on what
is missing. If nothing is marked as "MISSING", tick something (anything),
close the window, re-open the window and remove the tick.
