- Get HijackThis.exe from:
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe
- Save it to C:\hjt (new folder)
- Open it and select "Scan and Save Log"
- Note where you saved the log
- Send it to Ron Kinner as an attachment
- Ron's email address is (e-mail address removed)
- Put Hijack in the subject so he knows it's not spam
- He will tell you what to do next

U just got about:blank spyware, Jason
I got the same message many times...but the real spyware
is 'about: blank' but this seems Unknown or
Unclassified.spyware.65 ( why .65 btw lol ?) for this
Beta Version...
Read what Engle is saying it's the solution ( not simple
I think anyway) Good luck !

Don't give up Jason...read what Engel is proposing...I
think he explain what is the key of 'about:blank'
I had tryed evrything like u and it doesn 't work
too..but the problem is that IEXPLORER is starting again
and again when u reboot or change user coz the concepters
had the genious idea to change ( very easy it seeems) the
registry entries to include their 'shit' into a
automatically 'started up' registry key calling IEXPORER
(with already corrupted home page about:blank changed) so
u can't see this process...and when u try to suppress
some .exe identified by NORTON it doesn't work coz those
are still used in a runing process..
Good luck, Jason !

I have the .65 as well. MS antispyware will find it and
try to remove it, but it keeps coming back....How do we
get rid of it...Spy Bot does not find it.

Have you tried doing full, deep scans in safe mode? That should do the job
for items that Microsoft Antispyware detects by name, but doesn't clean.

If that fails, however, I'd go for looking at all the startup items and
lists in tools, advanced tools, system explorers, and blocking suspicious
items.
