I having a problem where my HDD partition all of sudden
missing. It started with a system slow down and after
rebooting the system it shows, NTLDR missing.

I use another HDD to bootup to windows XP (using file
system NTFS same as the prev HDD file system). When i see
under the disk management, it cant detect my Western
Digital HDD. After ask a few ppl, they said my hdd
partition has been deleted, but how it happen? and anyway
of retrieving the data?

Appriciate your help.

You have hd's set as master and slave?
You cannot see slave in disk managemnent, but is it detected in bios?
If not and cabling is ok then poss. hd failure
Presumably you did'nt try the repair option on yr origonal hd, winxp?
