Unable to view some pictures and/or ads

In some web sites I am unable to view pictures and/or advertisments. Instead
there will be a box with either and red X in the upper lefthand corner and it
says "Click Here" or it says "The Page Cannot be Displayed" Is there a
setting in Internet Explorer that needs to be changed so I can view the
pictures?
