unable to view movie clip by clicking link on page

Hi, i'm on IE6 and used to be able to play avi's, wmv's online on clicking
the link to it, the media player would fire up and play it.
At the moment I now get a dialogue box asking if I want to save it (no other
option) to my harddrive.
Anyone know what the settings are to stop it asking me that, and just plays
it automatically instead?

i think I can solve your problem. Right click on the link and select open or
open in new window. A window should display on The left side of your IE
page. Let me know if this works.

Hi Kaja, thanks for replying.
I found out what the problem was. I was looking at the settings in IE but it
was the settings in the media player that needed changing, somehow all the
avi/mpeg/wmv settings were unchecked, don't know how that happened. Thanks
for your help, it made me look at something else for the answer. Cheers!
