unable to use word 2003 with outlook 2003

Basic:
XP Prof. SP2
Office 2003
-- outlook 2003 and word 2003

When trying to start writing E-Mail with word an error
pops up telling me, that my word version is not identical
with my outlook version and that I cannot use word.
Boring. I installed 2 office times. I used tools to clean
the registry. I manually searched the registry for old
word 2002 fragments. I tried to exclude word and outlook
from the new ms-firewall. Nothing.
It just does not work.
 
Additional information:
When opening help --- system information ---- office ----
outlook ---- summery .... The system does not find outlook
2003 Even you do it from the running outlook-system.

Why it's me?
