Unable to use RSS in Outlook 2007 and new .pst file

I have recently upgraded my .pst file from the older 97-2002 format to the
newer unicode format.
While all my emails, calendar items, and notes were correctly exported from
the older pst file to the newer one and the folder structure correctly
mirrored, however, the RSS feeds icon (folder) from the previous .pst file is
simply mirrored as a RSS folder and not a special folder which has its own
context sensitive right click menu options.

As a result, it is not an RSS feed reader anymore and it simply shows my
existing older newsgroup items and does not read or download automatically
any newer feeds.

Importing has corrupted your profile. You will need to create a new
profile, connect your old .pst to it correctly (outlined here hundreds of
times) and then install the RSS feeds separately from the Accounts dialog.

Thanks Milly for your reply. I had moments before reading your suggestion
found another workaround. Although your suggestion that the profile got
corrupted was correct.

To rectify the problem, I had simply copied another .pst file from my other
computer which I always keep synchronized with the machine I was complaining
about. After copying, I edited the mail account settings to deliver the email
to this newly copied pst file and everything works ok now with the RSS feed
icon displaying correctly and behaving normally.

Thanks again though for your prompt reply.
