The microsoft antispyware on my pc won't work so I tried to uninstall it.
Well I keep getting this error "The windows installer service could not be
accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if the
windows installer is not correctly installed."

I have tried to reinstall the latest windows installer 3.1 V2 and this error
still persists. It will also display if I tried to install any microsoft
based program.

mdossaji,
Have you tried to download it again from Microsoft? I did this and got the
error cannot contiue without removing the older files. This may work for you
in order to have the program delete the older files. It's worth a shot. Hope
it works out for you.

Some of the best advice I can think of too. Unless it is a problem, keep
checking it's progress and update if necessary and look for the proper
uninstall procedures as the BETA progresses.
I find if a beta is problematic, it's usually hardware. Either fix or
update your hard ware or stop using it but continue to monitor the beta. You
will almost always find a solution if you participate in the beta YOU
installed.

Interesting statement, Michael. In the beta milestones of OS's yes, but
within a cleaner? Of all of the systems I have tested this on and still end
up with the same conclusion, I find that hard to believe. Am really curious
to read your notes on this, seriously. :o)
