Unable to unhide some hidden rows

I have been using Excel 2002 to track events. There are about 950 rows and
15 columns. As events are completed, I hide the rows so that I can see only
active events. However, I occasionally need to unhide a row in order to see
some data. Then I rehide it. When I say "I", I set it up but a receptionist
has been using it. I've found lots of mistakes in her entries and she no
longer works for me.

A few days ago, I tried unhiding all rows, double checking data. I
discovered three rows that I cannot unhide - row 776, 790, and 807. I closed
the program and a couple of days later, tried it again. This time there are
two rows, 781 and 812 that won't unhide. The previous three are now
unhidable.

I downloaded SP3 today but find no changes to these rows.

Looking at the spreadsheet with all inactive rows hidden, there is a thicker
line indicating line 781 and a double line indicating line 812.

Can anyone tell me what's going on and how I can regain the full use of my
spreadsheet?

I have Windows XP on a P3 machine with 512 MB RAM and a 1.26 GH Athlon
processor.

Thanks for any advice.

After rereading, I realize that the above is misleading. I meant that I can
now unhide rows 781 and 812 again.

The row height may be set to zero and not hidden.

Try highlighting the rows above and below and use the Format, Row,
Autoheight to reset the row height.
