Unable to turn of transparency

Hi,

I've got a problem with transparency in Vista RC1. Recently I unchecked box
below windows' color selection. Now I am unable to turn it on again. I can
check the box, click ok, but transparency doesnt work - if I open settings
again, box remains unchecked. Please, any suggesions?
