Unable to send message with attachment from Outlook 2007

I attached a couple of small photos to an email message using the attach
function from the email page, but they won't send. They just sit in my
outbox and it tries to send them every 5 minutes or so. I also tried going
to the photo and using the "send to" function from there, but I have the same
results.
After trying for hours to send the photos, I finally deleted them, but now
I'm not able to send ANY outgoing emails.
I just purchased a new Dell 2 weeks ago with Vista and Microsoft Office
already installed. Any ideas?

No, I opened the Outlook Send/Recieve Progress box to watch, it shows "Task
Completed" and there are no errors listed under the Errors tab. But the
emails are still sitting in my Outbox.

Outlook files all other sent emails in the Sent Items folder?
When you say small attachments, please define small.

Well I messed with this all weekend trying to figure something out. I turned
on my computer this evening and it sent them all without a hitch!! Thinking
maybe it was a network problem instead of an Outlook problem. Thanks for
your help! Nice to know there is someplace to go to ask questions!! Thanks
!!

Hi friend!
The Outlook 2007 repair tool is the best solution for you. However, you can also try the scanpst.exe Inbox repair tool to fix the issue.
