unable to send distribution list if one address is rejected

I sent an e-mail using a distribution list. I got an error back saying one
recipient cannot be delivered. No e-mail went out to anyone on the list. How
can I see who is causing the error so I can fix my list?

You can't. All you can do is examine each entry to see which has an invalid
address.
This is one of the many reasons few of us ever use DL's. There are more
reliable and robust ways to group recipients, such as Categories or separate
Contact subfolders.
