Unable to send a message, its been trying for 24hrs

I have been tring to send an email that contains a photo, for the past 24hrs.
it wont send. all I am able to see is "cannot open this file, Outlook has
already begun transmission. It wont even let me delete the message

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, tillybird asked:
