Windows XP Pro SP2
I have a desktop and laptop.
I share a folder called \\MyLaptop\LaptopDir located on the laptop which the
desktop sees as the Y: network drive.
I usually have no trouble seeing the YLaptopDir) on the desktop.
However, I now do not see the \\MyLaptop\LaptopDir in the Microsoft Windows
Network in the File Explorer. Moreover, when I click on YLaptopDir), it
gives the following error:
"Unable to enumerate the current drives on this system."
The shared files portion of the network acts like it has something in a
cache which needs to be reset.
Is there a command which says reset the network and look for shared files?
I've powered off both computers and the router which did not correct the
problem.
Thank you for your help.
