Unable to see computer in Workgroup

I am using linksys wireless hardware to connect a WinXP
Pro system to a Win98 system. The XP system has a DSL
connection to the internet. The 98 system is accessing
the internet through the router. On the 98 system I am
able to see the Workgroup and the 98 system beneath the
Workgroup but cannot see the XP system. On the XP
system, I can only see the Workgroup listed under "My
network places". When I try to view Workgroup Computers
on the XP system it tells me that "Workgroup is not
Available." "You might not have permission to use this
network resource." "Contact admin of this server to find
out if you have access permissions." "The list of
servers for this workgroup is not currently available."

Can someone help me???

Thanks.

check the network end between XP & 98 on the internet - as I had the same issue with 98 & NT - i.e. I could'nt see my 98 workstation from my NT workstation through the network icon. .. or check the protocols on each end
