In NT4 I was able to do a search for text inside .bas files but it does not
work with WinXP Pro. Does anyone know of a registry setting or option I can
turn on/off that will let me find .bas files with a certain text? Show all
files is on. Any ideas? Thanks!

Using the "A word or phrase in the file" search criterion may not work

You can try Agent Ransack. It's a good, free, search tool:
