Unable to save a file to network drive since friday.

We made a migration from Novell to W2K.It's been couple of
months.
It's been great. but last Friday all of sudden the users
are not able to save any files to network drives.(We still
have lots of hard drive space)
Only way to save a file or documents to network drive is,
save it onto local machine and while the file is open then
able to save it to network drive. Is it related to DNS
issue? And we have no disk quota been set either.

Please help me.
