I can't download files. I'll select the file I want to download, the dialog
box will open, I'll select run and ....nothing happens.

Same thing happens when I try to save the file to my desktop or a folder.

Same thing happens when I try to open an e-mail attachment.(OE6)

Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated.

How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in
Windows XP

Windows XP comes with Internet Explorer 6. Microsoft has made IE part
of the core operating system. If you think IE is screwed up, and want
to repair it, you must use the sfc command:

Start > Run, copy & paste > Sfc /scannow & press Enter.

This will scan and restore protected system files ( which IE is )

Hi, I was curious and wanted to know if you solved that download issue with
your computer. Because I'm experiencing the same problem with my computer.
I tried everything, and nothing has worked. And I was hoping that you had a
solution. I gratefully would appreciate it.
