Unable to Run Java Applets

When I try to run IBM realtime scoreboard for Wimbledon
Tennis Championship I receive the following message in
the browser screen

Your browser has been set so that you can not run Java
applets.

I would like to know how I can set the browser to run the
java applets.

I have already tried the Internet Options Advanced and
reset defaults but his made no difference.

Please advise how I can overcome this problem.
