Unable to restore DAT files in XP file transfer wizard

My windows system became corrupt and I needed to formay C: and re-install XP. I used the file transfer wizard in XP to back-up my important data (holiday photos, work files etc)t my local disc D:. They were saved in a file called USMT2.UNC which contains 16 files each of 2Gb plus a status file.

At the same time I upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro. When I came to restore these files using the wizard an error message saying insuffient data or disc space to restore files came up.

Can anybody help recover this data? Please!
