Unable to resolve external website

We have the smae domain name for internal and external addresses. When we use
our domain name internally we get our ISP's default webpage. Our website is
hosted externally by our ISP. It seems like a hostheader problem, but we cnat
get it to work. we have a A record in DNS resloving this adddress to our
ISP's external webserver. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi David,

Heres a DNS report you can check your name server settings


http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=www.yourdomain.com

(replace yourdomain with you know what)

mmm. second thoughts this will not work for your internal NS. Try NSLookup
and compare the results with the dns report from above. That should indicate
any differences in name resolution from within your intranet.

The IP address resolves fine interanlly or externally so I don't think it's
a DNS issue.
