Unable to remove directory

Hi,

After a Win XP crash I has to do a re-install as the system would not
boot. I have some direcories from the installation prior to the crash
which are visable via explorer but totally unaccessable. I would like
to be able to get to the contents or if not possible remove these
directories. So far all atempts have failed I've tried via explorer and
via command line, I've checked the attributes but each time it says the
directory is inaccessable. Any Ideas on how I can remove these
directories from my system ?

Hi Phil,

You need to take ownership of those folders.
