Unable to reactivate Application Agent Check Points

William

After turning off 1)Process Execution amd 2)Script
Blocking agents in Real Time Protection - Application
Agents, in order to try to load a Wep page that would not
load, I tried to turn these two agents back on. Even
though the link is active to reactivate these agents they
will nor reactivate. Application agents continues to show
23 of 25 agents actibe. Any help would be appreciated.

Someone had a similar issue, they he/she was turning off Real Time
Protection from the system tray everytime, just before they shut down the
computer. Are you doing anything similar? In the mean time give this a try:
Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.

I did disable these two agents individually from within
the Application Agents configuration window and then was
unable to re-enable them from within the same window even
though the link was there to do so. Clicking the re-
enable link just caused the window to refresh without
changingthe status of the agent.
Your suggestion to do a Change/Install from within
Controll Panel - Add/Remove did take care of the problem.
Thanks
