unable to reach SQLServer when I’m in debug

Hi all, this is my problem:
i'm using a WM6 device and i’m unable to reach SQLServer from my
application when I’m in debug, with the device connected via Windows
Mobile device centre (on Vista)
connection string is correct, because when I’m in release, out of the
cradle via wifi, I can correctly reach SQLServer… so it’s something
wrong in Vista WM device centre
but what? I disabled firewall and antivirus
any suggestion?

On the device, what 'network' is the ActiveSync connection configured to
connect to? It should match what your WiFi network is configured, Work or
The Internet.

active sync (or how's named on Vista) is set on 'work'
and the same is wifi on the device...

but when i try on debug i didn't switch wifi on ...

this always worked on WM5 (Intermec CN3) but not now on WM6 (Datalogic
BlackJet)

And you're connecting to SQL Server *via IIS/HTTP*? That is, port 80 on the
server? That should work. If you're trying to connect directly to SQL
Server, as opposed to connecting to it via IIS that probably won't work and
you'll want to debug via WiFi, not ActiveSync. See this Web site:
