unable to open .wmv files in outlook 2003

When I try to open a link with the .wmv "suffix" I get the error message:

"Error-2048 Couldn't open the file ... .wmv because it isw not a file that
QuickTime understands."

How can I view videos with the .wmv file format?

QuickTime doesn't handle .wmv natively. You will need Flip4Mac if you're
on a Macintosh. If you're on Windows I suggest simply using Windows Media
Player.
