Unable to open photo attachments

For the past two weeks, my friend has been unable to open any of my photo
attachments. I have sent him attachments using Outlook Express, Yahoo Mail
and Hotmail, all of which failed to open on his computer. We cannot
understand why my attachments show ATT00008.htm which when accessed
bring up my e-mail message texts to him and never the attached photos.
What is ATT00008.htm anyway? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What email reader does he use? It seems like the problem might be on
his end.
