Unable to open form in Design View

Is there any thing other than a corrupt form that would prevent a form
from opening in Design View?

did you create an accde file from the main/master DB file? If so, you
cannot edit anything in the accde file. you must go back to the
original DB file, make changes, then create a new accde file to
publish/give to users.
