Unable to open Excel file

I have an Excel file with LoadTextFile macro. The
functionality of the macro is to read a text file and
load into Excel sheet. Once I save the Excel file after
the first load, I could not open excel sheet next time. I
guess, it is getting corrupted and it happens
consistently. Can someone help me to figure out what
causes the Excel file to get corrupted?
Can a Macro corrupt an Excel file ?
