Unable to open Excel Attachments

Hello,
I'm unable to open any excel attachments.It displays the
following message: Can't create file: book1.xls. Right
click on folder that you want to create file in, click
properties.........When I try and save the file, it opens
the My documents window and soon as I click save the
following message displays: Can't save the attachment.
Right click folder that you want to create in........I've
unticked "ignore other applications" under the General
Tab in Excel Options.Still the same problem. Ran detect
and repair. Still the same. Ran the unregserver and
regserver command. Still the same.
Is there anything else I can try? Please help me!

I've experienced teh same problems with Excel when trying to open attachments sent thru Outlook. As atemporary solution, I've had the sender of the attachment rename the file and resend it to me. That will work for a bit then the message comes up again. If you recieve an answer to how to fix this, please let me know.

hi,
i have the simple solution. just need to delete temp folder from regestry. find the folder on below path.

go to Run-> type regedit ->

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\\Office\12.0\Outlook\SECURITY
and delete "OutlookSecureTempFolder"
