Unable to open Event Viewer

When trying to open the event viewer on a Windows 2000
Server (SP3),I get the message "unable to complete the
operation on 'system log'.The interface is unknown", I'm
also unable to start the task scheduler service. This may
or may not be related.

Can anyone help?

In this forum
Do a search for Event viewer or dcdon

If you maybe want to save the files try
F5 for making visable and try to exprot to your desktop
You can always delete later
