Event Viewer

Windows 2000 Server. When I open the event viewer and click on security,
system or application I get the error "Unable to complete the operation on
application log. The interface is unknown". Is there a fix? What causes this?

Hello,

You have one or more evenlog corrupt. One of solutions is :

1 deactivate Event Log Service
2 reboot server
3 delete file *.Evt
4 Activate Event Log Service
5 Reboot server
