Unable to open default email folders

Error message appears apparently after auto task did a back up to external
drive E. Error message: unable to open default email folders. The file
E:\PST's\storage.pat is not a personal folder file.

I have tried to restore from an earlier date with not help. Any
suggestions?
 
It looks as though Outlook is looking to your external drive for your PST
location. You should point it back to the PST on your local drive.
