unable to open add/remove programs

Clicking on all icons in Control Panel works fine, except
for Add/Remove Programs.

Any ideas?

Hi

I also face the same problem. I am unable to open Add/Remove programs in my control panel. I am able to open others in control panel

I also have another problem. I am unable to see the Folders panel in my Explorer. When I select Folders option, I get a left pane which is greyed empty pane.

Can you please help me

From the "Run" box try

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\appwiz.cpl

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\webvw.dll

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\mshtml.dll

You might try to reinstall IE, the article above also tells you how to do that.

If this doesn't help, try to reinstall the OS service pack you already have
installed (or install a newer one if possible).


If the problem persists, you'll could do an in-place upgrade of the OS and see
