I am using Access 2002. I created a database that runs under asp in
frontpage (Interland is the host) and now when I down load the database to
edit it won't let me open it. It used to do that without a problem The
message says" Microsoft Access can't open this file. The file is located
outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. It won't open the file
because of potential security reason blah blah blah. I went to the knowledge
base and there was something about changing my work group and the such but I
have never fussed with that before and used to regularly edit the dataase
and return it my my Web site.

What am I missing?

That sounds like it may be a Window's security issue. Have you
considered that possibility?

Except for antivirus and spam programs I have not changed any security
settings. I am not sure how to or where to look to adjust that except in IE
which is not in play here.

I looked at the properties of the file and chose to unblock security
warning. It works now, thanks!

How about updates? Windows and MS Applications tend to reset their
security settings back to high when they update a program or they may change
the rules so a level that would allow something before will not longer allow
it.
